Theo lied at the DP meeting
Anonymous (not verified) | Mon, 2007-03-12 21:01

After listening to the DP meeting online, I have to note that Theo lied about his party saying no to a casino license. Did people forget tt it was the DP party that submitted the famous Caravanserai casino license twice and that it was the Lt. Governor that overturned the EXCO (DP party) decision.
How can he now say he did it in the interest of the people? Then it seems that the DP has serious issues that Corallo (Atlantis casino) is paying for the NA campaign. But what about the DP and especially Theo getting financing from Spadaro? How about this? Was it in Spadaro's interest to have a new casino so close to his establishment?
Of course not!
Wow! it amazes me that they consider the people of SXM and Sucker garden stupid. So our political campaigns are being financed by casino bosses on the island, Spadaro for DP and Corallo for NA, very nice indeed and Gracita still saying that the 5 years of higher supervision that the Dutch is giving as a prelude to country SXM is too long and is considered colonial?
Woman, this is too short! we should have asked for 20 years! and within that 20 years require that all parties disclose their political contributions. Require that all political parties accept no more than 1000$$ (limit) from a donor source.
Theo says he had a dream....... wonder if the dream included how he would fleece the island for himself and his family?
Does anyone have any idea how much the FCCA will be putting in the Theo campaign?

DIREZIONE INVESTIGATIVA ANTIMAFIA

According to these people in Italy:
DIREZIONE INVESTIGATIVA ANTIMAFIA
Two dudes with the same names as you mentioned, Spadaro, and Corallo
are members of the mafia, and what a coincidence one of them is resident on Sint Maarten or should I say (AKA) Saint Martin, both are experts in dodgy gambling rackets and have previous convictions. Perhaps your two are related, probably in the case of Corallo, it his son Francesco ?

(page 55)
A tal proposito, non ci si può esimere dal rilevare come la criminalità
organizzata catanese risulti particolarmente specializzata nello
sfruttamento del gioco d’azzardo a livello internazionale, nonché
nell’infiltrazione nella gestione di case da gioco. Al riguardo, si
ricordano personaggi dello spessore di:
- Rosario SPADARO (Santa Teresa di Riva/ME, 27.06.1932), già
oggetto dell’Operazione “Gioco d’azzardo” del Centro Operativo
di Milano, residente a Saint Maarten (Antille Olandesi), punto di
riferimento di un vasto reticolo di società nel settore turistico con
interessi in vari Paesi del mondo;

old news
Anonymous (not verified) | Wed, 2008-09-24 21:25

You know Brabinger, this is old news for us old timers.
What is it you want? to shock us with this news?
Good god man, every tom dick and harry and their dogs know that the 2 men mentioned in your article are related to the mafia.
While you are at it, digging up old news, search on your google for a Mr.Sudie Ozkan, he is another owner of a casino.
Every casino on St.Maarten is owned by various mafia outlets, wha? you think they were owned by some reputable businessmen? in the case of Mr.Spadaro, he has been on St.Maarten since the early 70's, has been in jail in Guadeloupe, done his time and what not.
Tell us what you are trying to prove with your story, because I don't get it.
This is old hash.
I hope you are not some just come along Johnny from Holland who is here to fix the system, because you all too damn late.
You want news? Our politicians are the new style mafia, live kickbacks, corruption, extortion et al, and they are not even employing workers like the casino's do.

hey chill out old timer .
Brabinger | Thu, 2008-09-25 16:28

Well Old Timer, thanx for the reply. Somewhat cynical but then I suppose living on a money laundering paradise all your life must have made you that way.
At a time when the american people are being asked to bail out the corporate fraudsters of the worlds financial markets for over 2k a head I suppose a bunch of mobsters doing there thing on a little speck in the ocean is not any big deal and certainly not news to you. Your politicians are no different from politicians anywhere else in the world but with amount of cash that is passing through your little island I guess they can get incredibly rich. There is however a new angle to the story and it involves the Italian government who are obviously not as well informed as you are.
They were prepared to give Atlantis World Group of Companies NV, of 106 Rhine Road Cupecoy a gaming license to control amongst other things thousands of slot machines and 30% of on line betting in Italy. They struck the deal directly with the Antilles based NV. Although the actual company concerned is a london based company called Atlantis
Giochelegale Limited. who are based Dawsons Solicitors of 2 New Square, Lincolns Inn. London right in the heart of milords financial center the firm is very reputable and has been going for about 300 years. So it seems that for the Italian Government and highly respected London business lawyers working with the mafia is fine. Not really surprising when you think the italian prime minster is basically part of the mafia and the city of London's financial institutions are for all intents and purposes run by a mafia that predates the Italian version by 200 years. Italy was in any case united by british freemasons
who also invented the Garibaldi hero myth (also a freemason) and probably the mafia which surfaced at the same time.
Talking of freemasonry I suppose you'll have one or two Lodges on Sint Maarten?. As you can imagine this story is of no interest to the corporate media. I guess it's fair to say that the Anglo-Dutch mafia is rather more potent than their Italian counterparts and don't have to dirty their hands collecting loose change in iniquitous gambling casinos.

This deal will certainly add a few add to your political slush funds was done by the State Monopoly (AAMS) and the money passes through branch number 6 of the MPS bank in Rome, the MPS is the oldest bank in the world so they have plenty of experience in money laundering. If you want to have an on line flutter check these two sites .

At least you know that you'll be helping the (black market) economy of St Martin.

So far your info is quite meaningless. What is your point ?

Monty Python on Sint Maafia
Brabinger | Fri, 2008-09-26 02:56

well it might be meaningless to you but it is certainly not to me.
I suppose it all depends on your definition of "meaning" Monty Python's meaning of life comes to mind. This site is called SM Private Eye, I guess you got the name form the UK version which is an investigative journalism mixed with satire.
Well it appears that there is "no point" what I am saying is that your casino owners are wheeling and dealing with European governments and high placed legal firms in the heart of upper class London. Your response is bascially. 'so what' !
So I imagine that it's common knowledge on Saint Maafia pussy claat island !!
By the way i am not particularly interested in the italian mafia more the Anglo -Dutch Royal mafia families Bank of England, ING - Barings and the old Opium traders .. I won't trouble you again with my meaningless nonsense.

we have been living in a mafia paradise
Anonymous (not verified) | Fri, 2008-09-26 12:38

This is old timer again, you are right, our response is so what???
This has been going on for so many years, Casino's now employ many employees and do their part for the economy. We know they are part of the Mafia, but for many years when we spoke up about it, Holland, Curacao and others did absolutely nothing.
Listen up, for Corallo to get anything in Italy, he must have his padners in crime in Rome and Catania. I still do not get your point. What is it you want from us?
if you want a discussion about how the Casino's are contributing to our Commissioners getting richer, sure lets go there.
The Corallo's and the Spadaro's and the Ozkan's pay up heavily during local election time.
in essence, they get what they want in return, no control, and everyone goes about their merry business.
Your comment about Freemasons? what does that have to do with anything?

Thank you

Good idea. Try your ramble somewhere else. Like here. Thank you.

Theo forgets due to his advanced years
sxmobserver | Mon, 2007-03-12 21:48

Just take a look at that mature, greying old (retouched) gentleman on the huge placards who looks like he is out of some Bing Crosby and Dean Martin crooner's movie. Maybe in his advanced years he forgets all the lies he has told the people.

I notice almost every political candidate has a "foundation", and I'm betting it's tax-free at that. I am also wondering what the candidates are doing with the money all our corporately responsible citizens are donating to their "foundations"?

Just a few questions...

PS: I am sure FCCA would find some way to secretly funnel cash into Theo's pocket for all that work he has performed for them on the "junkets" he calls conferences.

Theo is a Hypocrite
Anonymous (not verified) | Tue, 2007-03-13 14:05

Nevermind the FCCA. Keeping it local, we forget that while the DP goes off on its campaign of ethnically cleansing the island of "Italians" and bashing Corallo for funding the NA, they conveniently forget to mention that one of their and Theo's most significant campaign contributor is another Italian by the name of Spadaro. Now, now, Theo, didn't your mommy ever tell you not to throw stones if you live in a glass mansion, I mean, house?

So while "Italian money" is no good for the NA it's acceptable currency for the DP! Where is the kind of journalism to expose this hypocrisy?!?!

Man of Action was actually more stupid.
Anonymous (not verified) | Tue, 2007-03-13 17:33

Man of action also had his thing to say about casino campaign funding. He had a messsage to deliver to "his" people. Listen to the audio fragment and shiver. It is of a stupidity level unmatched in history and far worse than what all the others said combined.

"You have not seen the dempocratic party in action as yet" so he proclaimed. Well, If after 8 years in power we have not seen action yet, we will probably never see it. What a terrible fool that man is.
