are these the most recent photos does anyone have recent photos

I was at Dawn Beach about the time the pictures were taken. Many people, including those working on the hotel were shaking their heads at:
1. The hotel is supposed to open on December 13, 2006.
2. The construction - The outer walls of the 5-star beach front hotel are made from styrofoam (yes the same as a cheap cooler), with a thin layer of concrete over it. Maybe they think it will float in the first hurricane that hits.

As for Red Pond/Gibbs Bay, there was no sign of construction as of October 5.

Just imagine a little more concrete and a wall being built about 30 feet from the water line and then you will have an updated image.

Thank you guys for keeping a watch over Sint Maarten. In spite of all we still have some good people we can depend on. Dont lower your guards but keep focus and you will see your reward.
