Day of the Dolphin - Redux - 20th September 2006

Ric O'Barry has been dedicated to abolishing the billion-dollar dolphin slave trade and has headed The Dolphin Project since 1970. He is also involved with many other international organizations dedicated to protecting our oceans and recently stirred up the IWC meeting in St. Kitts. One campaign he has been working hard at in recent years is to stop mass dolphin slaughters in Japan.

Please please send your thoughts about the slaughter to as many of them as you can on the 20th.

Then read the articles below about this campaign and see if there is anything more you can do. You can make a difference, if you want to.

The Video of slicing up a living creature is gut-wrenching
sxmobserver | Tue, 2006-09-19 12:16

How could little school children become so inured and desensitized that they could walk past living creatures being hacked up while writhing in unimaginable agony?

Only a person with a stone cold heart could remain unmoved by that video.

Speechless

I'm speechless, I tried to watch the video, but it made me cry. These people are heartless and barbaric. I don't understand how anyone can be so cruel.
