Does anybody know how many iguanas are left on St. Maarten? Did someone do some research here on St. Maarten? It is a fact that there used to be many more in the past, but most of the iguanas were chased caught and eaten. How many people keep iguanas as pets? Iguanas are wild animals and are not easily trained and can become very aggressive. But is Kevin also aware of the salmonella that reptiles carry with them and the diseases that can be spread? Iguana’s can make people sick because they carry salmonella as stated here in this website so extra hygienic care should be administered.

Geno Lawernzi, you should know better, we hope you do now.
More information on iguanas can be found here and here and here and here.
