A Chess game played with marbles!

What is this? What kind of ignorance and stupidity do we hear and see played out by she who thinks she is untouchable or well spoken?
Who plays Chess with Marbles? Ignorance and stupidity rears its usual face in the DP camp again! You should have heard him (Laveist) last night January 6th, 2006 in Sucker Garden ranting and raving about who said what and who envies who. It’s not about envy its about the peoples’ business!!!!

Chess….Mr. Johnson is dragged into a discussion over whether he met with the DP or not! Mr. Johnson is a billionaire for all I know, why not grab the opportunity and entertain this gentleman in opening the Mullet Bay whether he buys it or not…OPEN IT!!!!

Its 10 years plus now that Mullet is closed, 10 years..and she plays with marbles over the reopening of this hotel. Perhaps they want fat man to have the monopoly in hotels on the island, could it be that?

Or is it out of jealousy and envy that she blurts out some stupid expression just because there was no presence or invitation to this gentleman’s luxury yacht, pleasure craft or toy for their political party members? Could it be that she is offended that the peoples’ choice (Gracita Arrindell) is featured most prominently with Mr. Johnson and his lovely wife on board their toy?

Marbles….Instead DP entertain Mr. Johnson to discuss the reopening or purchase of an eyesore, public danger, environmental hazard, mosquito breeding ground, dump site, disgraceful Mullet Bay Hotel she opts to insult his intelligence and that of Gracita with nonsensical stupidity! “He never met with us”, it should have been: “I invite you to come to meet and chat with us, let us entertain your ideas and possibility to reopen Mullet Bay”. Doesn’t that sound better, than to ignore an important opportunity presenting itself? Marbles indeed on a Chessboard!

On the other hand, could it be that Mr. Johnson is not willing to dance to their “music”? The owner of Mullet Bay allegedly donates huge sums of money to political campaigns and who knows what else. I am sure Mr. Johnson is above those types of negotiations, way above! Therefore, what is the game plan here? Are we going to continue pitching marbles? Do we need to reopen Mullet Bay Hotel or are they going to wait, speculate, bribe and suffer St. Maarteners who need work and support for their families while this woman plays with your future and that of your children all because of some deal they may want to cut?

I openly apologize to Mr. & Mrs. Johnson for the ignorance displayed by a supposedly educated “leader of Government”.
