Serious Questions?
Anonymous (not verified) | Tue, 2005-12-13 00:12

Serious question are supposedly being raised on how the forms to request Telcell information can be qualified as false. I personally don't believe anyone has raised this question but I will still try to shine some light on it. They way it was explained to me is as follows:
The term "falsified document" whenever it is used in a legal setting can mean two things. The first example is the falsified/fake passport which looks like an original passport but which isn't genuine. That is a falsified document.
An example of the second meaning of falsification can be the Telcell application form for information on cellular traffic. Assume for a moment that such "traffic" info can only be requested for a criminal investigation. If a prosecutor fills in the form to get information as if there is a criminal investigation ongoing with regard to a certain number but in reality there isn't any such investigation, the contents of the document can be considered false. Although the application form itself is genuine, it contains a lie as if it is the truth and it can thus be considered a falsified document. I hope I have explained it as well as it was explained to me. (Thanks you know who)

If that is what actually happened (we don't know and neither does the Today), it is quite possible that these documents can be considered a falsification.
The story in the Today is therefore suggestive to say the least. But that is to be expected from that newspaper. Owned by the employer of CM and written by people that know nothing about this society.
What is next ? I put my money on the medical card. I would not be surprised if the mysterious but oh so convenient medical condition will come back to life. It worked as a justification for an early retirement. Will it work as a justification for an early release from prison as well?

Very interesting.

Thank you.

It was my understanding that charges include fraud, which is what the documents can be considered too, fraudulent.

Perhaps he'll tell some secrets in order to make a deal, I'm sure he has a few to share.
