Constipation?

Is King TO constipated? It's a possibility considering his latest comment about the roads and potholes. As Commissioner for public works and many 'friends' in the road construction business you would think he would know a little bit about them.
Heyliger questions why PJIA can’t give back to community.
Let me explain for you TO. When a pothole begins it lets loose a whole bunch of stones and gravel that create more potholes. In addition the edges weaken and the pothole gets bigger, collecting rainwater which causes more weakness and expansion. When you leave potholes for month and months as has been done at this particular section of road then the results are what we all see today.
Instead of blaming PJIA's extension, which by the way has nothing to do with the state of the road, a road that has ALWAYS had pothole problems, try doing your job and making sure Public Works does theirs. By TO's logic, maybe we should be asking the car importers and rental companies to fix the roads too.
Oh, and when oh when is the media of this island going to put this man on the spot and press him for answers on what he's doing about the SOAB report and VROM?? It is his portfolio afterall isn't it?
Oh lawdy, here I am getting controversial again, SXM PE is never going to get any advertisers at this rate, lol.

Noooo, this info is absolutely false!
The cause of the potholes brought forward here is not correct, the real cause is actually... numerous nocturn meteor attacks! The roads of St Maarten form a real target for aliens and evil meteorites :)
PS. UFO's exist, according to my observations and calculations, which are totally reliable.

Actually, I was the one that caused that response in the Daily Herald. I think the newspaper must have forwarded my letter to Mr. Heyliger.
To say that his response was a matter of passing the buck would be an understatement. If he blames the airport for causing the problem then we might as well blame Adam and Eve for causing the whole problem world wide.
And as for finding money to repair the road, I am quite willing to use the $2000 I pay every year for my (useless) business licence and use those monies to hire a couple of Haitians and repair the road in my own time.
Just say the word Mr Heyliger, and it will be done.
The problem in St Maarten is the when it comes to road infrastructure, there is never enough time to do the job properly, but always enough time to do it again.
Below is my letter to the Daily Herald.
Dear Sir,
I attach two pictures for your perusal.
These giant potholes have been in existence for four years.
They have been allowed to grow until the pavement of my building is being used
as a public road, as the pictures show.
This has caused the degradation of the private pavement and has caused
many altercations between pedestrians, who have a right to walk there,
and motor vehicles, who are forced to drive there.
I find this completely unacceptable.
The island has a tourist based economy of which I am part of.
I pay my taxes accordingly.
Allowing tourists to spend their dollars negotiating this disgusting
road quality promotes a picture of the poorest quality.
In fact, this is an example of pure and unadulterated negligence
and there is someone in the government that is responsible for this negligence.
I wish this problem to be solved immediately..

How in the world you expect the media to put Theo on the spot, when his designated script writer is employed at the leading dialy. In addition, the Mongoose gang still hold the purse strings. They will also supress any bad news written about the golden boy. And yes, it is his responsibility to deal now or later with all the confusion and, as we now know, factual information coming out of the SOAB report.
Both department heads have to go. The question is: who should be anoited head? I'm sure Mr. Theo would like nothing better than for this embarrassing report to disappear. By him delaying the obvious decision, it puts him also in a bad light with his political coalition, especialy now that NA has won 3 seat in the last fed elections and new election being not too far.
His support for Dollison, not so much Bumcamper will show him as a procrastinator when dealing with corruption in government.
The Lt Governor should have an audience with him to inquire about what political move he will make regarding the result of the SOAB report.
When are you all going to rid yourselves of this obvious incompetant. The only thing he seems competent at is screwing up. Maybe its all part of the master(s) plans ?
I read that story too and was wondering if the "Just For men" hair coloring was affecting his brain. Just because no one questions him on his personal hand in the Harbor cookie pot to do what he pleases with the Harbour/ peoples money- does not mean that Eugene Holiday and the PJIA board will let him push them around.
Where is the independent supervisor to over look the Government owned companies finances? Public Works and their contractors WWR, MNO and small time contractors should be placed to fix roads...and TO knows darn well that PJIA has to pay back loans.
If TO needs more taxes then he should start to be more creative to get taxes paid.....all those vacation villas, condos, homes owned by foreign Ltd's, they pay zilch!
The Porto Cupecoy just opened, it is a condo development-so no room tax is charged. The condos are mostly owned by foreigners... and yes they shop in our supermarkets...but so do we the locals and we have to pay our fair share of taxes!
