The above is from the project dosier of the Dolphinarium project several months ago. It is unknown what is in the final agreements being made, or already made, with Atlantida.
The above shows the real cost of having this Dolphinarium.
This last week Great Bay has been cloudy and brown in places, for two reasons, the sea and weather has been coming from the east and the heavy rains have washed dirty water into the bay too. It is without any doubt that the idea of placing an open sea dolphinarium in this bay is a ridiculous and irresponsible idea, and this doesn't even take into account the noise factor of boating and cruise ships.
Once Dolphins start to die and St. Maarten gets a black mark against it's name it appears it will cost millions of collars to get rid of Atlantida. This is yet another example of government making foolish and irresponsible decisions with the future of the island. In my opinion.
