PHILIPSBURG - The battle between the owners of the controversial Travel Inn project at the entrance of Pelican and their backyard neighbour Cornerstone Fund is not yet over. Although the case was settled in civil court earlier this year in favour of Travel Inn, at the request of lawyer Stefan Fox of Cornerstone a hearing was held on Friday before an advisory committee of the Executive Council. Fox asked once more for the Executive Council to retreat or at least revise the building permits issued to Travel Inn. Lawyer Jelmer Snow and his client Isam Yousuf of Travel Inn were also at the Government Administration Building on Friday to shed light on Travel Inn's side of the story.
