If these guys will have guns too and how much out of the three months will be given to training for them. It all sounds kind of sketchy to me.

Of course, we need more cops and even just a few "Tourist" police will be a good thing. I would hope, though I haven't read it, that the training for these guys is to be an ongoing thing.
