Cupecoy Village is being developed by the owners of several properties, including Princess Casino at Port de Pleasance . Extensive damage was done to the lagoon several years back whilst dredging the Princess Marina an earth wall broke, allowing the dredged material to flow into the lagoon, causing a delta of about 2 acres covering sea grass areas. Despite one commissioner promising to have the damage repaired, nothing has been done. The developer blames the contractor and vice versa.
