Vinnie Cullen Confusion

Please excuse me Dr. Voodoo, for hijacking your blog post, but I feel the need to make some guidelines and I didn't want to start another post on the matter.

First of all, comments are now turned off on all threads and news items on SXM PE that are about Vincent, you can only post on this one.

Second, anonymous comments on the matter will now be subject to a higher level of scrutiny, we here are not interested in his work relationship with his boss or personal comments that are hurtful or just plain nasty.

Thirdly, and I say this directly to his family. There are two articles in our two newspapers here today, one says the family is at odds and the other says they accept.

Which is it? Please ask the father to send the email he sent our papers to send it here too, or post it as a comment. And sort out your own communications and positions between yourselves too. Sorry to be blunt, but I'm not about to let this site be taken over with this sad confusing story. - Flipper (The Management)

Dr. Voodoo's blog post......

How can it happen that a prosecutor announces to the public that a suspicious death has been attributed to 'natural causes' and that the family have accepted this verdict, then the next day we hear that the family categorically do not? An explanation please Mr Stein.

As for the press, it's no surprise that they copied down what they were told and wrote it up without questioning or verifying. However, I would point out that the Today does mention that they tried to get hold of the family but were unsuccessful, it's important to keep that in mind when reading their Windsor Road opinion piece.

Last of all, to the Family. The public has far far less information than you have, you may consider writing here telling us what you know about Vincent's death, the hours before and what the police have done and told you. Only then will the readers of this site have a clearer picture instead of the confusing one we are getting from our authorities and press.

Cullen Case
Flipper | Tue, 2008-08-26 02:19

I find it hard to believe the Cullen family, or any responsible person, would hold back information about tainted drugs here in St. Maarten, or the Today Newspaper either, because doing so would clearly be against public interest and put lives at risk.
I'm not very satisfied about leaving this as it is, it leads to speculation, rumors and confusion. Why would anyone want more of that?

New type of Caribbean tourism ???????

QUOTES: (taken from media reports including USA media)
Driver: Cullen was ‘looking kind of funny’ on last taxi trip
PHILIPSBURG--Vincent Mark Cullen appeared unwell when he was picked up outside his family’s Cupecoy timeshare unit over a week ago. According to the taxi driver who carried him to Cay Bay, where he was last seen alive, the American tourist looked “kind of funny.”
In an attempt to identify the victim police searched the pockets of the victim and found a container with some sort of medication with his name on

LETA CORDES:
Leta Cordes asked for a ride to the Westin Hotel casino and Frank said he would drive her, although she would have to walk back. Leta Cordes decided to make the 10- to 15-minute walk to the casino instead.
Minutes later, Frank Cordes said, he drove to the casino to make sure she made it to there. He assumed she was inside when he didn't see her on the road. The next morning, Leta Cordes didn't return.

Cordes told The Daily Herald the suggestions had been made and continued to be made on the Internet and apparently were based on a domestic disturbance call he had made a year ago when he and his wife had been engaged in a scuffle over medical insurance (not life insurance as had been reported by some sections of the media).
He said his wife had come after him with a knife and he had reported the situation.

He said Leta Cordes’ family would be releasing an advertisement countering the allegations.
Cordes insisted he was not a violent person. He admitted Leta had issues, as she had been taking anti-depressants that would make her “psychotic” and “temperamental” if not taken regularly. However, he said, in response to her behaviour on occasion he had never felt it appropriate to argue with her, as sometimes she would be drunk as well.

Although now Frank Cordes says that she did not have her passport with her, this in contradiction to previous statements alledging that Leta Lynn Cordes left the house with her ID and $100. Now Frank claims that Leta was intoxicated and sleeping in the car and around 11pm came into the house and demanded $200 to go to the casino. He refused to give her the money and says she went upset upstairs where he checked on her 10 to 15 min. later to find that she was gone.

NATHALIE HOLOWAY (ARUBA)
Twitty pandered to tabloid TV and her "behavior was odd from the get-go".[10] Renfro noted that "Twitty immediately concluded that her daughter had been kidnapped and made no effort to check hospitals or police",[130] adding that within a couple of days, after fixing responsibility on Joran van der Sloot, Twitty "was telling TV interviewers that she knew her daughter had been gang-raped and murdered".[130]

WILLEMSTAD/ORANJESTAD – From a print-out of Natalee Holloway’s telephone it appears that the private jet of her mother Beth had already landed in Aruba at 17:15 on May 30. At least, that’s what TV-producer from Curacao, Renée Gielen says. She has the telephone print-out of Natalee’s cellular telephone.
This is very striking, says Gielen, because according to her, it means that Beth Holloway wanted to come to Aruba before Natalee was missing. “The print-out shows that Beth had called Natalee’s cell at 17:15. She did that from her own cell and she could not have done that while being in the air.” She emphasizes that it also means that the call was not done with a satellite telephone and it is also not probable that Beth’s private jet had made an intermediate landing from the United States. “That is not usual on these short flights. For that matter, she must have left even earlier.”

The print-out doesn’t show that it was a missed call, but that Beth had really talked to someone. Gielen assumes that she had talked to Paul Lilly, one of the chaperones of Natalee during her vacation in Aruba. Besides, when Beth arrived in Aruba, she was carrying a stack of posters asking Natalee to call her. “This suggests that Beth must have known that there were problems, before Natalee disappeared”
UNQUOTES:

Is anyone taking the above mentioned statements into consideration. Are we being faced with a new type of tourism to the, lack of police expertise, caribbean islands ????????

I would also like to know the results of the blood tests and the type of medication found. The Today is not keeping anything from us, they also would like the results.
Just check the other 2 cases and how many times you see court cases/law suits mentioned. It is clearly stated that they (T.Tod.) neither the police/prosecutor are allowed to release any further details without the approval of the family.

Re. Leta Cordes - why is she being made out to be psychotic violent drunk by her husband? Somewhere also stated that she made a phone call, to who ????
are there no telephone printouts or if from cell phone, what was the number??
Re. Nathalie Holloway - Is her mom psychic and knew exactly what had happened or was someone paid to carry out such acts?
Re. V. Cullen - was he picked up by taxi outside the casino or his family timeshare unit, fam. said he went to the casino, taxi driver said he was called by cullen and had picked him up at the timeshare unit?????????

So I am calling on the friends who are also concerned to kindly ask the family to make the results known and then investigations can continue/start.
Looks to me like Cape Bay is really not the issue here, so what is ?????

Hi Flipper,
I am as confused as you are. To me the blood test means little, I would just like to know who was with Vinny when he died. It just don't seem right. I know someone knows exactly what happened. I hate to think he was alone and no one helped him. Because Vinny would have helped anyone who needed it.
All I know is each day at work I miss this kid more and more and I dont even want Christmas to come this year. It is nice to think someone there is not happy with the circumstances either. Thanks
