Philipsburg: --- The prosecutor office is still awaiting ballistics as well as forensic testing in the killing of Stanley Orlando Gumbs whose lifeless body was found in a car in front of Crystal Bar during the end of March. In a follow up to the case Chief Prosecutor Taco Stein said that they asked the laboratory to speed up the analysis because they need the results to proceed with the murder investigation.
While police and the prosecutor office are tightlipped on the case, SMN News has learnt that the caliber that was used in the killing is of interest to both parties. The source did not reveal the connection the caliber may have to other criminal investigations or the police, but claimed the outcome would be interesting.
Stanley Orlando Gumbs was an employee of the Census office. His mysterious death created shock throughout the community of St. Maarten.
