Daily Herald Website's New Look

Well, it appears that the Daily Herald Website finally got rebuilt, after 10 years or so. Not that you will notice much difference really, except the layout and color scheme. Still no archives, which proves to me they really have no clue on how to build visitor numbers, page views and therefore advertising revenue.

2008 and this is the best they can do? Par for the course really isn't it.

Maybe it's a test. Or, maybe the site was hit by a hacker or virus or something of that sought. Viruses does do weird things at times.

I don't want to believe that they are calling this an upgrade. Because they can call me. Or they can put up an ad asking for help. We got tons of skilled web designers here on the friendly island. The best designer wins free newspaper delivery for one year. Great idea?

you are kidding me. The daily herald gets a new website and sxmprivateeye deems it neccesary to allow a post that ridicules its look and lack of features...

Well, I like this topic. I also do applications and designs. Those who are into designing would find it interesting. It's not lame when you see a site or imagine an O.S. change for the worse. Take a real good look at the site. It's like some kid was playing around with the design. It's hard to imagine as an application designer that management allow this kind of change.

I also hope that the similar headline published by the daily herald was also a sham created by the hacker.
