OK, first off to promote a nice thoughtful frame of mind, a short video called "The Miniature Earth". Some of you may have seen it before, but it doesn't hurt to watch it again and bring the life you have into perspective.

Next up, a very entertaining and humorous lecture on how History is linked to Pop Culture called "Assume the Position". It's only 30 mins or so and although focused for US students, well worth your time to watch..

For those of you who have never sat and watched Starlings flock then you are missing something quite beautiful and amazing to see. This video shows the Starlings on Otmoor in the UK and this next one reports on new studies on how they manage not to collide.

This BBC documentary is in 5 parts, each about 10 minutes long and covers the Evangelical Creationist Movement's campaign pushing Intelligent Design as an alternative to Evolution. Unfortunately we have many here in St. Maarten who are clueless and ignorant about Evolution too.

Another great documentary that I think should be shown in all our schools is Richard Dawkins Break the Science Barrier. In 6 parts of about 8 minutes. With the recent donations to the USM maybe we can hope that science on SXM will get a boost.

I may have posted this before, I'm not sure. Never mind if I have, because it's worth a second mention anyway.
