St. Maarten Private Eye

I live in St. Martin, Leta was with us in Grand Case before Frank & his mother decided to go home. Everyone was in good spirits. Yes we had our rum on. Laughing and talking.having a good time. It was about 9:30 pm when they left. i could tell Leta wasn't ready to go stright home. I beleve Franks story that she headed to the casino after they got home. The area they live in is isolated and dark. We have given a statment to the police. The worst thing about this story is the rumors saying she must have run off with someone. This is not true. She loves the people she has as friends. I have not been in contact with the friends she has in the states, but while she was here she kept in contact. I can tell you
everytime I mention the Oyster Pond to an old timer the reply is the same (Ohh the burial ground). Everyone on the Island knows that is a very dangerous area. AND what is happening with the French side police. I really haven't heard anything coming from the French side. We are an Island of 37 square miles, more on the french side. Everyone knows if you commit a crime on one side of the island you run to the other side, because there is little communication between the two agencys. Why doesn't the friend & family ask the French side police if the FBI can come and do searches on the French side. It doesn't seem the Dutch side isn't going to let any outside help in.
