From SMN-News
Philipsburg:--- The arrest of a Dominican national who was carrying a false re-entry permit bearing the signature of Chief Commissioner of Police Derrick Holiday is the straw that broke the camel back leading up to what the Minister of Justice David Dick claims to be a reassignment SMN News was reliably informed.
Over the past weeks special investigators were conducting some intense investigation where several immigration officers were questioned in a secret location. The source said that even though the false document which resembles those that were issued by convicted police commissioner Marcel Loor bears Holiday signature which tied him into the corruption chain, he denied his involvement into issuing the document. SMN News understands that the investigators made a report on the St. Maarten Police Force which is not too favorable, so far that report has not yet been released to officials on St. Maarten but will lead to a horrible shake up which may lead to a possible unrest within the police department locally.
Also reaching SMN News is that the officers may soon arrest Holiday for his alleged involvement into possible crimes and that he will face prosecution in the very near future. However, the prosecutor office is not ready to comment on the evidence they have against Holiday or if in fact they are preparing a case against the former Chief Commissioner of Police.
