This idiot, Bodo Muth, was giving island tours to cruise ship visitors, and in many cases (just read the cruise ship blogs about him) making his passengers uncomfortable with his racist remarks. Just a few bad comments from him which are then published on websites that visitors check regularly before booking their holidays, and we can have ourselves a lil' dillemma. And the whole issue with this fool was that his website was so hateful towards our island, yet he was working and prospering here. People like this are not wanted in St. Maarten and the more that is posted about him, the more unpopular he will be. Let's just hope he really has left.

You can contact Rolando 580-9212 He's a St.Maartener. I used him for pickup and tours for visiting guest who are on island for conferences. He's very knowledgeable about his lsland and a friendly person as well.
He also runs an official taxi service and many of the hotels such as Holland House, Sonesta use his service. I know Holland House use him for their VIPS.

Bodo Muth came out in the open and reveal his true self. In reality there are hundreds of Bodo Muth on St. Martin/ St. Maarten who come here and after being accepted they want to tell the island and its people what to do and how to do it. When in fact they ran form their country to make a living here. These very people like Bodo Muth cannot tell their leaders what to do and how to do what they want.
The French and Dutch Authorities I am sure will hear of this site and do what is necessary to get Bodo Muth off SXM. However, the island people would have to live with the reality that he can do whatever he wants from anywhere else. The best way to get rid of this bastard is by ignoring him. The more attention he is given would only give his perverted mind more ideas to bash SXM.

In the "About me" it says that Beau Robinson was 48, born in Germany and spent years in Florida, just like Bodo. What are the chances that a SXM Tour operator has two German employees, same age and who both lived parts of their lives in Florida? Also, click the image to enlarge the photo. A spitting image of Bodo.

No doubt, Beau is Bodo. Question is, why did he kill his alter ego? (And why did he have one in the first place?) So many questions, so few answers.

The people posting on Cruise Critic are starting to question whether Beau is reallly dead or not, although Bodo confirmed it as late as yesterday.

Could someone whose IP is not banned by Cruise Critic please post to this thread and inform these poor people so they don't have to take tours with these lunatics.

I posted a warning on Cruise critic and one his customers already cancelled their tour. You would have to registers on the Cruise critic site and then you'll be allowed to proceed. One happy customer of Bodo was told that there's a big rivalry between the Dutch side and the French side, this person or recent customer of No Rush is swallowing his garbage. They are questioning whether the warning is from one of the rivals.

If anyone else post on Cruise critic please assured them that we are not some crazy island loosers running around naked fighting each other on the border.

I was reading the follow up on Cruise Critics' dead Beau' s thread after your warning and that is when I learned that the No Rush Tours website has been taken down.

Please pick up a copy of the TODAY newspaper today, seems that Opsilos tracked down the owner of NO RUSH tours, Alicia Chavanon owns a restaurant at Paradise View, that is that area overlooking Orient Beach.
I have my own questions which I did not see in the article; she claims she threw Bodo Muth out of the office, but what if he continues as he has access to the internet and the internet bookings? Alicia does not seem to have any hand in the internet bookings and emails that go to the NO RUSH TOURS -as she herself confirmed that Bodo sent the email to Opsilos.
The she says that NO RUSH TOURS is only operational for a few months, but when I saw some of those pictures Bodo had on the internet, some were dated as back as 2004 or 2005-I am not sure of the years, but for sure before 2007.
Was Alicia also aware of Bodo Muth masquerading as Beau Robinson? or was he Beau Robinson when he was touring on his own? there must be some explanation as to why his alter ego Beau Robinson was killed off?
Thanks Opsilos, I was wondering if someone was going to follow up on the story, in the meantime I still have not heard anyhting from both tourists offices as some sort of press release stating that they will not tolerate tour guides who spew racial hate and tarnish SXM name with visitors.
On the other hand.... I must congratulate the French side tourist office, the hotel association for signing an agreement for tourists who suffer from robbery and assault to get more personalised care... personally I think everyone is entitled to personalised care after a robbery or assault, not just visitors to the island.
I also think more attention should be placed on prevention of crime such as extra police, extra man power in the police station with tools. i do like the fact that they included a translator in this new agreement.
But also the French side needs police presence in such places as the top of Pic Paradis, I personally tell people not to go there as the risk of being robbed is very high.Loterie Farm on the other hand has become safer as the owner has made provisions to have vehicules park closer to the Tree Lounge.

Is Alicia Chavanon -a Claudette Davis? I read on cruise critic some visitors met the owner of Paradise View also the owner of NO RUSH TOURS as a Claudette Davis.
Some locals told me a few days ago that Paradise View is owned by a local with last name Davis.

We are trying to warn the American guests that come to the island and they are brushing this off as inter island politics?
What if they had a major accident with Bo-Beau-Bodo? Surely he had no insurance to cover these people or their medical bills?
We are warning them of the scam artists that live and operate on SXM and they make this out to be some sort of politics?
You know some time it is damn if you do and damn if you don't, thats the reason these American visitors keep getting harrassed by the illegal time share OPC's that hound them and push them to buy faulty timeshare with no back up and many times they cannot get their money back. They refuse to listen to the warnings!!! As a SXMner I am appaled by the scam artists and scum of the earth that come here and pollute our tourist product but I don't hear anything from the tourists office on both sides of the island.
So the next time we hear Americans bitching that they were scammed and it is all our fault, should we blame the ones that see us as some little banana republic island running around with grass skirts looking for a revolution at the border?

My family and I toured with Beau Robinson of NoRush Tours in May. I have been following this thread since the OP posted that Beau Robinson had died of a sudden heart attack while on his way to pick up a client.

Now the plot thickens! After reading all the posts on the following blog http://sxmprivateeye.com/node/12135#comment-17506 I'm convinced that Beau Robinson is now operating NoRush Tours as Bodo Muth and is still alive and well. Bodo or Beau, it appears, is accused of being many things, a white racist promoting **** views on his blog, being illegally on the island and operating his tour business without a valid licence or insurance on the Dutch side. I remember Beau making several racist comments during our tour that made me feel uncomfortable.

I took a photograph of him with my family on our tour and as you can see from the above link, Beau Robinson and Bodo Muth appear to be the same person.

I hope Ms Labega form the Dutch Tourist office is reading this as well as the French Tourist office reps

I am sorry to let everyone know that I have heard the news that Beau Robinson died of a sudden massive heart attack at the age of 48 on the way to meet some clients. He died behind the wheel and caused a minor accident by his loss of ability to steer the van.

I am so sorry about this news. We had him as our tour director in St. Martin in September and really enjoyed his tour. God rest his soul. E-Beth

A gentleman named Bodo is doing all the admin work now and he seems very nice and professional in his correspondence. Send them an email and confirm your reservation with them. I am sure there are many people doing this now and the people at No Rush will surely be happy to give you confirmation and answer any questions you might have.

Beau was not the only driver working for No Rush so you may have gotten someone else anyhow. All of the drivers have to adhere to the policy that you can have the tour any way you want. I have seen reviews for Lynette and Bodo and they both have been excellent.

I am looking forward to my tour with No Rush and I am more than happy to support their company during this time of change.
We recently took a No Rush Tour with Bodo as our tour guide and we were very pleased with the entire day. He was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly and took us to wonderful locations all over the island. We will remember our tour with Bodo always. it was the best! We took the No Rush Tour in Sint Maarten/ St. Martin yesterday and our driver was "Bertrand" (who also called himself "Tomas" on his cell phone sometimes). He was very knowledgeable and pleasant, and we had a good day touring in a very comfortable large bus, although there was just two of us.

We mentioned our regrets on the death of Beau Robinson, and his reply was something like that it was an office joke or something. He referred to the idiom that "Beau was in a better place now" meaning that he was now in a desk job. But some have emailed that Beau had died! Bertrand said that there would be some reference to this false rumor(?) on their website at www.norushtours.com sometime soon.

At the end of a very long and rambling explanation we remained unsure if Beau has departed this world or not. Other than that, we think we understood everything that our driver had said.

We think Beau is alive because Bertrand's reaction to out condolences was anything but that it was so sad, what a shock!, etc. etc. etc.

But we don't know for sure.

Anyway, we would recommend this tour, and the very homey restaurant (where they base their lunchtimes and received their tour payment) served very good home-cooked fare, and had maybe the best view on the island.

Only fault that we could find is that the driver suggested an area to snorkel that really had nothing to see unless you had scuba gear. That part was a waste of time.
The e-mail I got from Boho said, "Our tour guide Mr. Robinson is no longer with us. He suddenly passed away at November 7TH."

There's a local blog in St.Maarten called SXM Private eye- please google the name and follwo the thread about Mr Bodo Muth and or Bea Robinson. Both of these names are the same. Mr Robinson is very much Alive.
I'm a born St.Maarten and as a native we love having you come to the island;however, we get very upset when someone does business on the friendley without good intentions.

I was told from people I trust to be reliable, that Mr. Beau Robinson had died. I also got a very strange email today about the possibility that he might still be alive. Strange indeed. If I gave false information, I am terribly sorry. At this point I have no idea if he is alive or not. Our tour with him that day was very pleasant and informative. He told us of the intense, very hostile rivalry between the two different sides (french vs. dutch) and that it was very, very hostile. I hope this news is not something being put out by one of his rival tour operators. I really don't know. What I do know - is that we had a great tour the day we were in St. Martin with Beau and I would try his company again.

The man who wrote the site has guts to stand up behind what he writes and thinks of St. Maarten/St. Martin. This is man is ungrateful and he himself is Racist.
At least the French Authorities knows who they have to look for and I just wish they would do what they have to do, which is throw him off the island with a lifetime ban. The ??? is when would Flipper come out in the open, is he afraid that he too will be kicked off the island?

It's going to hard to shut him down unless he's being hosted locally. St.Maarten is still small and I hope people report his wherabouts so the authorities if they have any power in this case to monitor his acitivities. We don't need people like this person on St.Maarten.
