Is anyone concern about the high cost reflected as a fuel claus on the energy bill ? How is it possible that you consume fls 192 in electricity and pay fls 350 in fuel clause. The former managing directorof GEBE, Mr Lambert explained that the fee was introduce as an administrative fee many years ago and that electric company is making excessive profits. He stated futher that there 's no reason why the fuel clause should be that high. Granted the price of fuel is going up; however, this has nothing to do with the fuel clause on the consumers bill.
I think we should pressure the commisioner in charge of GEBE to explain his position on the fuel clause. GEBE has a monopoly and a new arragant new managing director, someone who the commissioner can control. The former managing director stood up to all political pressure and did not give in to no foolish requests from any political figure.
