How much is it going to cost to do nothing?

"The costs of doing nothing are far far higher than it will cost to make the changes to policy and mentality we need to make now. We are going to pay already, only the cost has not been determined. II'm willing to bet it's more than any of you reading this are prepared to pay." - Me.

For your latest video Caribdude, and the round up. I am reminded about the little boy that cried wolf, only in this case the wolf is taking a long time to come so people tend to ignore the news about it. The UN tells us the wolf has arrived.

The island needs to become more self sustaining if it is to have a future, GEBE should not be reducing prices, they should use any extra profit they make to invest in alternative and clean energy production for the future. A major step as you have pointed out before would be for GEBE to work to facilitate grid hookups for home solar power generation.

They can spend 10's of millions on an Airport, Harbor and Govt building. Why not for our power and water needs too?
