Now I'll probably be up most of the night waiting for him, Crowded House too. This Missy Higgins playing tight now as I comment is really sweet too :)

Never heard of her before, but she is damn good. Powerful and confident voice.

Nice stage with the wide screen across the back too.

If anyone cares to join us and comment here about the various concerts and artists during the shows, please do so.

Anyone else out there?

Great concert
Local Hero | Sat, 2007-07-07 03:07

The sound is perfect, the video streaming clear, the picture is great too. To those who are watching and haven't noticed, you can make the screen bigger by clicking on the bottom right of it.

I sooooo wish I was there. I miss being able to go to big concerts like this.

"To our leaders, we are your employers, do what we say"

What a racket!

The concert in Japan started, can't say I like either of the bands on right now. Jack Johnson is coming up next in Australia. If you don't like whats playing, try another channel, even though those concerts haven't started, they each appear to be playing videos and interviews too.

OK - back now

I'll be here for a little while. There are now 6 concerts going on. Is anyone else out there watching. Looks like Al Gore will be up in 10 minutes, on the US stage.

I like Angelique Kidjo very much!
Great concert, good message! And everybody should make that pledge!
So, Sarah, Theo, Roy and others, I would like to read your pledge in the newspapers next week or on the PE-site. Are you watching, and learning?

Thanks for putting the link and reminding me. South Africa is going to start soon, The Soweto Choir and UB40 will be on stage there. Watching Blues Nation in DC right now. It's a shame nothing was organised locally.

Duran Duran in London, opened with Planet Earth and now playing Ordinary World, two great tracks.. Something should have been done locally, most of my family know nothing about GW, it's depressing at times.

I don't think you'll find any politician here on the island with the honesty or integrity to sign the pledges. I hope to be surprised and proved wrong.
