I've been hearing stories for a couple weeks now about how the developer of Barbaron plans to fill in part of Little Bay Pond, it appears to me to be confirmed in the press release last week.

The part to be filled is apparently the corner where they are currently operating a quarry. Piling up the fill ready for the bulldozers perhaps? Really, I am just so sick of this. The pond is so peaceful and a home to so many birds, there is no doubt in my mind that this huge project will disturb it greatly. Looking at the image on the newspaper clipping it looks like the filled part will be.... a car park.
