Thanks for both of your replies. I think you have convinced me to either choose another island or another location on the island. Based on everything I have read it sounds like the entire island is under construction. I was quite concern that construction would still be going on in January at the Westin and you have confirmed that it would be. I can still remember when we went to the Hilton Tobago (I think it was 2003) construction was just completed on the hotel and not over on the condominiums, the place was so new we had to change rooms twice because everything wasn’t working like it should have (another experience I do not care to repeat). I will break the news to my husband that his favorite beach is no longer there as we knew it. I am really saddened by this. In the name of progress we sometimes fall behind.
