Mentioned on here somewhere by Local Hero, I also think giving money to Wesitn is sort of like buying clothing made by children in sweatshops or buying a diamond without caring where it came from, (Think child labor and warlords.)

I could recommend half a dozen nicer places to stay for the same cost, or less. They may not have 'Westin" bedsheets, or 'Westin' showers, but they are far more attractive and much more peaceful and tranquill than Westin is likely to be.

But that's just my opinion, giving them money just encourages them to do more of the same.
