I agree with Flipper on this one. The advertising folks own the newspapers. I am sure Roger Snow or De Windt have second thoughts when a story is against a regular advertiser of the Herald. They either make the headline softer or they soften up the article.
At the TODAY, they are absolutly pathetic, actaully harrassing companies to advertise for Gibson's ribbon. It is true!!! How many of them congratulated Erno Labega as well?
However, the most pathetic is this, Gibson hosted his own cocktail party at Passagrahan> The only elected official that showed was Gracita. Edgar Lynch and M.Ferrier was there, but they are not elected, most probably sent to rep. their party. Pretty sad they say, Gibson was first sent by N.A. and then the DP to be SXM Minister of constituonal affairs.
On another topic, doesn't the TODAY get it as yet??? Is a three car collision front page news? I cannot fiiguere it out, traffic accidents will happen every day, unless someone dies, or a baby is invloved, it is not front page news.
Maybe it has to do with Gibson being partner in NAGICO?
