Hi Jadira and SXM Pride,

I read Flipper's post on the old site about Foundations and his opinion they should move towards having memberships available to the public. Would this not work for SXM Pride?

I ask because I liked his ideas, I liked the idea of paying a yearly fee and being a member of a foundation like yours. Being a member could entitle that person to attend annual of semi annual meetings and vote on issues and board members. There could also be two kinds of membership, one for residents and another for visitors, many tourists and visitors to St. Maarten care about the island too.

This would give SXM Pride a sizable income and your voice would be more than just a foundation and it's board, but the voice for it's members too. I do think this is a good idea for other foundations too.

Anyway, I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
