Thanks for the heads up. Last year I heard about someone wanting to build condos on the old Spartaco restaurant.
For those of you that do not know... Spartaco restaurant was located in an old plantation building.
Mr. Spartaco designed the interior of the building for his restaurant, leaving the exterior to reflect the old Sint Maarten style plantation.
The person in charge of monuments is Dr.Jay Haviser, as he now works for the department of VROM.
PRIDE foundation will definitely bring this topic up in our next meeting.
