You are right, the EWEF does not need Govt

You are right, the EWEF does not need Govt, but their involvement and support would help when seeking to find funds to purchase a property like this for preservation.

EWEF have been working on a plan for a historical and natural park, but such things are rarely big money earners so finding funds is not easy. They did also make an appeal to the community but I think most people here with money are either too interested in making more or just don't want to get on the wrong side of govt. I think that they have been active in searching for funding but there are road blocks and difficulties to overcome too, including this current court case.

They have had to engage legal advice in order to be a part of the proceedings and they do need help paying for that right now. Really, money just does not seem to flow to the foundations on this island, they really all operate on shoestrings and a great deal of time and energy, spiritual energy too. This also means that they are all very frugal and get the most for their buck, so you can be sure even a donation of $20 is going to help and make a difference.

Perhaps Flipper should set up something to raise money for the EWEF legal fund.
