Bad Publicity is still PUBLICITY
SAM | Sun, 2006-10-08 14:22

Well at least sxmprivateeye got some good mention! Perhaps more people will start reading about the controversial topics on the site and start paying attention! And Jadira was named the island's Femme Fatale! That's cool!

It also proved that EXCO is scared of bad publicity if they are still dragging their feet on this project. What we need to remind them and the people of St. Maarten is that there is NO LAND left! Every bit of green strip should be preserved! Cay Bay is gone, soon Mullet Bay will be off limits. Where else can we take our kids camping or riding their bikes? The boardwalk you say? How about some green fields, some trails! The French Side has preserved Tintemarre, Pinel, Gros Ilet, Petit Ilet, Mont Fortune, Loterie Farm etc. but what has the Dutch Side kept intact for our kids, for our families? NOTHING.

If I am wrong, please correct me, but I do not know of one place besides the Marine Parks that have been named as "Development Free Zones" and protected. Not even the hill tops are safe from construction, as we can see by Theo's lovely mansion in Guana Bay.
