International Coastal Cleanup on SXM 2006 a success!

prelimenary results from the Grand ICC event held yesterday September 16th,2006 at the Mullet Bay Beach shows a record breaking participation of 215 volunteers.
908kg of trash was collected and bagged in 93 trash bags.
Learning Unlimited high school students, CIA students and faculty, St.Dominic High, the LIONS club,the Belvedere residents association and the scout groups were part of the large group of volunteers.
VOLVIC water, LIONS CLUB, SHTA and CLEAN SXM N.V. sponsered this event.
Sint Maarten PRIDE will be sending pictures as soon as we receive them.
