We need a reporter on this island which is willing to take a stand and do the necessary research on issues like the EWE and come out with a complete report with all the documents and the details of all the people related to this issue. Instead of calling the place a colonial office he should have gone and confirm that is was correct. Maybe van Diemen at that time act not on behalf of the Dutch Govt but as Mr. van Diemen a private citizen. THat is what a lot of people in government does. They hear about a project as being a representative of government and tomorrow they form a company and take over the project. These are the things we need to investigate.
