The life and wellbeing of these animals now rests solely and completely on the shoulders on the Veterinary Dept. The Animal Welfare groups should demand to know if and what plans have been made for them in the event of a Hurricane. Not to mention that keeping this Giraffe in a tent for now over 5 months is downright cruel. Does it even get taken out and exercised?
The welfare organizations also need to start procedures in court to have the animals placed into care and shipped to sanctuaries. In my humble opinion of course...
Ruby still here.
