Whatcha' doing Bobby??

When Bobby announced plans to relocate his boat yard from Philipsburg to a new Mega Boatyard in Cole Bay he met quite stiff opposition, from both residents of the area and environmental organisations. So, he made some promises and changes and even surprised a few poeople by inviting the enviro-peeps to advise him on replanting the mangroves he would have to remove.

Now that work is underway, it seems he may not be living up to some of those promises.

On the 5th May, this article was in the Daily Herald telling us of those concerns, the biggest of which appears to be the issue of where Bobby is filling in for his boat yard and water rights.

Blue is the proposed water rights for the boatyard.
Yellow indicates the proposed new car parking for Cole Bay Villas.
Green indicates the extent of the proposed boatyard.

This more recent image shows something new.

A new parcel in green, which concerned residents and groups fear will be filled in by Bobby as this recent photo appears to indicate.
