Can our representatives please ask about EWE?

I am sending this to our Island Council members representing the people. I am asking if the Island Council members can please ask the EXecutive Council what is the status with the resolution of September 20th 2005.

In this resolution, the EXCO was supposed to get back to the IC within 60 days, yet there was not a poof from the EXCO after the 60 days period. EXCO was supposed to appoint a 3 man committee to give guidance and advice on how to look to preserve the Estate.

Only 2 persons were appointed, the third was never appointed. The Foundation for Management and Conservation of the Emilio Wilson Estate also wrote a letter to the Lt. Governor on November 1st. 2005 in his capacity as chairman to the EXCO, asking him to meet with us. We would like to introduce the board and sit and discuss with government how both parties can obtain funding to purchase the Estate as a NATURE park.

To this date, no response.

We are questioning wheter the EXCO is upholding the IC meeting resolution of the 20th of September that unanimously had all members voting to protect the Emilio Wilson Estate. I would appreciate it if all IC members can ask questions and bring more clarity to this issue at Thursday meeting.
