Re: Sorry, I should have been clearer

Thank you Dr. Voodoo for this humorous moment you provided me yesterday. I was tempted to respond with a snide remark about Roy fooling the voters with his image of an undeveloped St. Maarten during the elections, but I didn't respond because I couldn't for the life of me think of a good reason why Marlin would knowingly use a photo of Grand Case.

I must admit I saw this humongous poster everyday and never really paid any attention to the background photo, simply because I couldn't look past the hyprocritical face of Roy Marlin. But once you posted the image, it clicked in my mind immediately why the incongruity of that image always bothered me and I blamed it on Roy's hypocrisy.

You are Commissioner in charge of the Environment running for re-election after you have allowed the Dutch side landscape to be brutalized and you can't find any more pristine land to have photographed on the Dutch side that you used an image of a French side area in your campaign materials. How hypocritical is that???

Like I said before about DP politicians carjacking the environmental bandwagon, and in the words of Flipper, we have to watch out for the green fraudsters. I saw his pic today in the newspaper passing out environmental awareness cards. Hmmm.....
