Democracy lagging
Anonymous (not verified) | Tue, 2008-08-26 08:04

NA Councilman George Pantophlet: “If people can't voice their concerns, then democracy is lacking or lagging. People’s comments about excavating, filling-in of the pond, are called by the Commissioner (Roy Marlin, ed.) frivolous and they would have a hidden agenda. Those are valid concerns,” he said. He added that the “environment can't be replaced easily when it is destroyed.”
