The good people of SXM do not pay for permits. Corruption has been going on in the immigration department, from the immigration officer to the to cops. And for sure Marsdin has been part of that corruption. There are writers that do not understand their countries laws otherwise the ignorant statements would not be made.
Just because they release Marsdin does not mean he is innocent, it means he is not a flight risk. Their investigations will continue. While they say it has to do with the Loor case means that he committed the same crimes as Loor. Just because Loor is behind bars does not mean he has to bear the brunt for all the police that did the same crimes.
Loor was kept locked up because he could have been a flight risk and he had all the money in a trust company that could have kept him wealthy a long time in St.Domingo or Suriname. Not you say? Anyone wants to ask ROY brother who stole from the Island Receiver and is living in St.Domingo with all the monies he stole from the tax payers?
