How can you flip this to make the bus driver out to be the one that's to blame? He is trying to make a living and some "worthless" individuals get on, and don't pay, or just hand a quarter or so. If a individual goes into a restaurant , they don't just pay what they felt like paying, or "just what they had in their pocket". I've seen with my own two eyes youngsters with Ipods, the most expensive phones, and most expensive shoes pull off this same 'con', cause that is what it is. those individiuals have no morals and are just learning at a young age to swindle and con their way through life.
As for senior citiezens that CHOOSE to pay, they have a right not to, and they have a right TO do so. If they feel that they are contributing members STILL in society and would like to pay...it would be INSULTING to refuse them, ask any older person that has stopped working because of illness, or others who become dependant on others after years of doing it themselves...they sometimes fall into depression because of the sense of invalidity. Yet others feel that finally, they can reap the benefits of old age and all that hard work..so it's a matter of choice.. if you are to hold a bus driver to the gallows because he (also) chose to accept the money is ludicrous. He also have a family to feed, and especially if those "worthless" kids try to pull a fast one again, maybe by the law of balances everything will work out in the end. I'd like to see the writer of this article (or the forum leaders on this site), NOT ridicule some others who do similiar cons in our society, and ESPECIALLY with the youth. I can just imagine those kids who literally thought they were outsmarting busdrivers cracking a big smile on their faces after reading that letter. they would probably be convinced that they outsmarted YOU the writer as well.
people who steal ARE worthless if they continue to believe what they are doing is right.....people who consider that behavior "normal" are also that....worthless. funny how a person who chooses to ridicule this site becomes a main topic on the page...you are actually going to make him a martyr for his cause, cause more than ever people are going to see the blatant bias and hypocricy here.
BTW Yes, I know therer are grammer and typos in my post, NO , i am not going to take the time to correct them...and YES you still understood what i wrote..which is the point of communication in the firstplace.
Have a wonderful day...and pay for your damn bus ride....
