I understand that when you do wrong you get punished. That's clear but the immigration department is Sint Maarten is just dreadful. I can say in my dealings with him at least he was a kind person who listened and did his best to help. At present coming through immigration is it "Guilty until proven innocent." I have dozens of tourists coming through and they are often traumatised by the experience. Is it possible to get these folks to change their attitudes...??
