Failures of the "system"

In addition to what you mentioned here is a summary of what all that went wrong the night my family lost everything, yes everything but their lives!

1. No answer to 911 calls
2. No answer to 542-2222
3. Fire dept. 919 is really not known to most if not all residents
4. Fire trucks arrived with little or no water
5. Fire truck hoses couplings didnt necessarily match
6. Fire truck hoses are all second hand and all burst under pressure
7. Gebe cut water to the district hours prior to fire
8. When water was restored, no pressure as usual
9. Gebe had to cut the water to several districts to get pressure to out the fire
10. No fire hidrants in the immediate area

We all know who the victims are, however some questions remain,

What have we learned from this?
How will this be avoided in future?
When will someone or some institution accept responsibility for their shortcomings?
Where is Govt. in all of this mess?

I can go on and on trust me.
