ROB Commissioner Looking for Solution

Philipsburg:- The cost for the collection of garbage is one of the major obstacles for the revamping of garbage collection, leader of government Sarah Wescot-Williams said. The leader of government said that the prices that were submitted during the bidding process was far more than government can afford and for this reason the former ROB commissioner Roy Marlin could not live up to his plans to improve the system of garbage collection.

The island leader of government said that the new commissioner of ROB Theodore Heyliger is busy working on a solution for the problem that is presently plaguing residents on St. Maarten. Wescot-Williams said that government is busy taking a second look at the situation right now is to secure funding for this and the question is if these necessary funding can be found.
