Permits me some space in your news papers for me to get my point across.
Ladies, and Gentlemen, young and the elederly, today the island of Saint Martin is faced with one of it,s most dangerous election that we have seen in the history of this island.
This election is no longer about who is going to run this country but who want to get the power.
I am a Fleming, but our families have been running this country from the first mayor Mr Pierre Auguste BEAUPERTHUY untill the last mayor Mr Albert Fleming.
In my opinion the best mayor that have run this country was Albert Fleming for the the simple fact that he never act better than no one out there, he did is share of good but he also did his share of bad. But let us be honest today does Louis Constant look like a man than you can aproach and have a conversation with. He is my uncle, and he told me personally that all he would like to get is is face up on the wall on your way up the stairs in the mairie. That is a promise that he made to his mother, so we need to ask our self what kind of man, that we will be voting for on the 8 july 2007. Louis Consatnt will sell this country out to the white man. If Louis had love the french side of this country, why would he be living on the dutch side? Why would he move his business to the dutch side? are you trying to help the french side or is he being the same as all the metropolitans that comes to the island on the french side and when they can,t suck the country no more the go back to there country or esle they go over on the dutch side, the dutch side need to be aware cause they are next.Saint Martin poeple this is our last chance to save this country, you will never get another chance like this ever again, it is time for us to wake from this dream that we are in thinking that only the Flemings can run this country. the Mayor call for a united team, the poeple called for a united team the closest that we got to unity is Mr Richardson, and his team, we all know that they have there differences but at least they will be working for Saint Martin, let us not be fool by the riches of Madame Fleming with all the respect that i have for her, but let us but back hope in our contry, let's us give hope to our young poeple, let us look to the future for a better tomorrow. Saint martiners, voters, young poeple the powers to decide is in your hands. let,s not live in the past but let's use the past to guide us to a better future. i pray that GOD would look down upon us and have mercy, and brake down jericho wall.
i would also like to congratulate the young team for taking such a bold stand for there country. have faith.
