Correct, he is not a politician, it was really just mentioned as an example, it happens in other areas too, assinating the character of the messenger in order to distract and take attention away from the message.

From all accounts, yes, it does seem that the writer is or was involved in business with some of those he mentions, probably part of any illegalities that went on too, if in fact they did go on. How do you find that out, well, by looking into what is being said. Clearly they are in Santo Domingo because they want to avoid being detained themselves perhaps, not really a dumb move if you are wanted or involved

We think the allegations made should be investigated and looked into, again, if only to disprove them and clear the air over them. If that is not done then it all gets left up in the air and leaves rumors and the accusations unresolved. Throwing out the accusations and charges based on the apparent unsavory character of the writer, as some appear to be trying to do, resolves nothing.

We expect some honesty, openness and clarity from our justice officials, as a reference, we refer you back to the the start of the Loor case in January, when the police spokesman told us that charges being made about extortion were rejected as being frivolous, 5 days later arrests are made. Rumors about Loors behavior have been around for a long time, none apparently worth investigating it seems eh?

So, while there may be questions about the writer, which are all fine and good, let's not dismiss what is said without looking into it.
